THIS WILL BE THE FINAL MORNING FROST FORECAST FOR THIS SEASON

DISCUSSION:   Temperatures were in the 40s to low 50s in most areas this morning.

An upper level disturbance just offshore will move slowly east and inland over Washington Sunday.  It will generate clouds and showers  beginning later today and continuing into Sunday with best chance of rain in the valleys tonight.   Cooler air comes in with this disturbance and with clearing expected Sunday night, colder locations in the upper Yakima valley could fall into the upper 30s Monday morning.  Another front moves in from the Pacific on Tuesday bringing a chance for a little rain in the valleys.  This will be followed by fairly cool air Wednesday and Thursday and colder locations in the Yakima valley could see readings in the low to mid 30s Wednesday and Thursday morning in the absence of clouds and wind.

TODAY AND TONIGHT
Weather:  Increasing clouds with chance of showers developing mainly around mountains today . Increased chance of showers in the valleys tonight.
Wind:  Southeast to southwest 5 to 12 mph.
Maximum Temp:  72 to 76 cloudier areas, to low 80s in sunnier locations.
Minimum Temp:  Upper 40s and 50s.

SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT
Weather:  Becoming partly cloudy with a few showers near mountains.  Clear to scattered clouds and cooler Sunday night.
Wind:  Southwest to west 8 to 18 mph.
Maximum Temp:  Low to mid 70s Yakima Valley, upper 70s southern Basin.
Minimum Temp:  Upper 30s in cold spots of upper Yakima valley. In 40s most areas.
Protection:  Not expected to be needed.
