Spring Fruit Frost Forecasts -

The traditional forecasts for damaging spring frost conditions for Central Washington, for all fruit growing areas from the Okanogan south to the Yakima Valley/Central Basin with key station forecasts.  Provided from March through the end of May.

Future Services -

Summer --

Weather forecasts for general orchard management:  Spraying, irrigation and pest management, including pest model forecasts.   Can be provided June through August on a district basis.

Fall Frost Forecasts --

Fall frost forecasts for grape-growing regions of the Lower Yakima Valley/Southern Central Basin, and also for the grape-growing areas of the southern Okanagan Valley of British Columbia/northern Okanogan Valley of Washington.  Can be provided from mid-September through early November with key station forecasts.

Winter Arctic Outbreak Forecasts -

Forecasts for cold outbreak conditions for the Lower Yakima Valley/Southern Central Basin from November through about February with key station forecasts. Would be designed to provide cold protection information for soft fruit and grapes.
